Can Polishing Remove Scratches?
Sometimes. Machine polishing can improve gloss, reduce swirl marks and help with very light surface scratches. Deep scratches, chipped paint and missing paint are different problems.
The simple answer:Light surface damage may polish out. Damage that goes deeper — or removes paint — usually needs paint repair instead.
